
Mozambique has a vast variety of color for the tourmalines. This rough is a very special color with the hue same as the popular Padparascha sapphire. This color have been popular in the market recently for their authenticity that only available from mozambique.

The Thai new year of Songkran has just come to an end after a water-war took place in many parts of Thailand from 12 April to the 15. Paraiba tourmaline have been the most expensive semi precious gemstone known due to its firing luster and neon green or blue color. These were only available in brazil, but not until last decade material have been flowing into the market from Mozambique. Although the production by the company, Mozambique gems, stopped due to wiped of the material. Our company have been looking for new material around the mine and we have good signs of new material from Mozambique again.
Full production will resume by August of 2012 and we will have more of this material. These are just sample rough of paraiba we have received from the mining area and hope to get more better and bigger material in the future.

These new material we have acquired are the latest material from Mozambique and these have not been coming for a long time. These material are getting rare each and everyday. Nearly 80% drop in production compared to last year and expected to increase in price by 30% this year. These material have fascinated the Chinese market due to the splendid play of color from green to red. These colors are natural and are not treated or heated in any forms like other materials from Nigeria and Afghanistan. These material have natural color and vibrant luster which make them special for the Chinese for the past 4 years


This stone is from Ethiopia, early mine before the new lot of opals arrived. This opal has excellent fire, but the stone was unstable causing the stone to form these beautiful inclusions that just look like fire inside them. Such a brittle magnificent piece we have got here.
